Headboard is really nice quality. It isn't hardwood, but may be the best laminated particle board I've ever seen. Has a nice heft to it and I'm very happy with it. The only issue I had was that it took awhile to put together. That being said, this is the highest quality build-you-own furniture I've seen. Very happy.
