I bought this crib for my daughter and for the most part I absolutely love it. It is a beautiful crib. The color of the wood is exactly what I wanted. I shopped around for a while looking for a crib that was nice and solid and yet not too expensive. It was more difficult than I thought. I found plenty of cribs out there in the style and wood tone that I wanted but they were all very expensive. And most of the cribs in the price range I was willing to pay were very cheaply made and seemed very unsturdy. I ended up coming across this crib at another store and was instantly drawn to it. It was very easy to assemble and I did it by myself. The instructions could have been more well written. But as with all assemble your own furniture they were easy enough to follow. My only dislike of this crib is that my daughter, when her teeth were coming in, gnawed on the rails and the burgundy finish on the wood came off very easily. I was able to stop this by purchasing crib rail covers. But I was quite unhappy that she was able to scrape up the finish so easily. That is why i am only giving this 4 stars out of 5. In any event, this crib is fantastic for the price point. I would certainly purchase it again in a heartbeat.

The crib itself it great, and based on the crib alone I would have rated it about 4 or 5 stars. It is easy to assemble (but you will need two people). It looks great and has 3 adjustable heights for the mattress base.Where I feel disappointed and maybe this is due to my own fault but this (and most other) cribs are labeled as 3 in 1 or in this case 4 in 1. They can only function as a crib out of the box. You must BUY the bed railings or day-bed/toddler bed items separately. So if you want to turn it into a full sized bed you need to buy one set of additional items. To turn it into a toddler bed/day bed you need another set. When we were in the buying process, we didn't really know much about cribs and so we brought this from another store on the assumption that it could be converted without any additional purchases. The folks at the store were unhelpful too in trying to explain this. I am not sure why they are allowed to market things like this. They should clearly say some text to indicate it can only as used as a crib out of the box and to use it in any other way you must purchase the appropriate accessories. They also need to make it clear there are two sets of accessories needed to make it a truly '4 in 1' item.I am having problems finding the bed railings for purchase. If I am able to find them and they are reasonably priced I might upgrade this to 4.If you just want a crib and are not bothered with the other features then this is a good buy. Although I think you can get other stand-alone cribs cheaper.
